1 Hour Riding – suitable for all levels of riding experience, including first-time riders.
Around 5km round trip -Horseback ride along a stunning stretch of Via Appia Antica, amidst mausoleums and ancient ruins. You will ride till the Mausoleum on a square base, dating back to the early Empire.
90 mins riding – good for athletics beginners too
around 8km round trip – a longer horseback ride along stunning stretch of Via Appia Antica, amidst mausoleums and ancient ruin, that will take you till the Tomba dei Rabiri: two freedmen of the “gens Rabiria,” as you will see from the inscription. The portrait is likely from the late 1st century BC, but later, perhaps in the 1st century AD, the portrait of another figure, Ursia Prima, who identifies herself as a priestess of Isis, is added to the central part.
2 Hours Riding – ONLY good riders
around 10km round trip – This horseback ride will take you to Villa dei Quintilii, allowing you to view it from the side while riding through the Regional Natural Park of the Appian Way, deviating from the main path of the Queen of Roads.
You’ll reach it by riding on the Appian Way’s most stunning track.
3 Hours Riding – Designed for experienced riders.

Our itinerary starts from the stables and takes us directly onto the ancient road, allowing us to follow its historic path and explore the surrounding countryside. Immerse yourself in the rich history that surrounds us.
This is our “Time-warp road trip” itinerary, where we can experience the excitement of riding along the same road once traveled by the Roman legions as they journeyed towards southern Italy’s shores!

They will share fascinating details about the tombs and mausoleums you encounter during the ride. Romantic Ride and Engagement Ride – As a romantic package we reserve the sunset hours and suggest combining a homemade lunch or dinner, prepared with a particular romantic atmosphere.
